Research on the Relationship between Teachers' Occupational Stress and Mental Health in Shaoguan Primary and Middle Schools by SPSS24.0

In order to understand the occupational stress and mental health of primary and secondary school teachers in Shaoguan, and the relationship between them, a survey was conducted on 233 primary and secondary school teachers in Shaoguan, using the "Professional Stressor Scale for Primary and Secondary School Teachers" and "SCL-90". SPSS24.0 was used to analyze the data. The results shows that: (1) The occupational stress of primary and secondary school teachers in Shaoguan is in medium level and is relatively common; the occupational stress of teachers varies with the gender, class, education stage, and teaching age. (2) The mental health of primary and secondary school teachers in Shaoguan is in medium level, and more teachers have mild psychological problems. Teachers’ mental health is affected by gender, age, class and education stage. (3) The occupational pressure of teachers is negatively correlated with the level of mental health, and occupational pressure can significantly negatively predict their level of mental health.
