Abstract

To analyze the chemical constituent of the extracts from Dendranthelna indicum by different extraction methods. The compounds were extracted by steam distillation and supercritical-CO2fluid extraction. Constituents were separated and identified by headspace extraction-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (HS-GC/MS),and were quantified by the accuracy of area percent.161 components were separated among which 56 were identified, the main components were alpha.-Phellandrene(10.70 %),Tetrahydro-2,2,6-trimethyl-6-vinyl-3--pyranone(7.14 %),Linalool(11.90 %),Linalool Oxide(7.95 %)by steam distillation. 121 components were separated among which 38 were identified, the main components were alpha.-Phellandrene(11.91 %),o-Cymene(22.59 %), Linalool(6.95 %),Linalool Oxide(5.75 %)in the supercritical-CO2fluid extraction.27 chemical components of the extracts were the same by the two extraction methods, but there are more than 18 components in the steam distillation.
