Theoretical Analysis of Pre-writing Activities in College English Writing

Abstract

The low efficiency in the teaching of writing makes us examine again the traditional teaching approach we have been applying. This article tries to explore an effective way to improve the teaching of writing by implementing the first stage of process approach --- prewriting. The analysis of theoretical framework of this approach provides a powerful theoretical support and guidance for the teaching and research on pre-writing in college English writing.
