Simultaneous determination of purerarin and tanshinone in Tongmai granules by HPLC

Abstract

Objective:To establish the method of controlling the quality of Tongmai granules.Method: High performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) was used.Column: Zorbax RP-C18 Chromatography column(150×4.6 mm,5 μm);mobile phase:methanol-water(75:25);flow speed:0.5mL/min,λ=254nm.Column temperature 25℃.Result: There was good linear relationship at the ranges of 22.5 μg/mL-225 μg/mL,r=0.9997 and 16.5μg/mL-165μg/mL,r= 0.9998 for puerarin and tanshinone,respectively.Conclusion: The method is simple,stable and accurate,so it could be used to quality standards for Tongmai Granules.
