Abstract

Objective:To investigate the effect of traditional Chinese medicine Prunella vulgaris on Fas Ligand mRNA expression of human Bladder Cancer Cell line T24.Methods:The inhibition concentration 50% (IC50) of Prunella vulgaris was detected by MTT assay.Bladder Cancer Cell line T24 were treated by different concentrations (0.5IC50, IC50) of Prunella vulgaris. The changes of Fas Ligand mRNA were detected by the reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction method (RT-PCR) and invasive ability of T24 cells was measured by Transwell-ECM.Results:Fas Ligand mRNA increased after treated by Prunella vulgaris upregulated (p 0.05); Transwell-ECM showed that the higher concentration Prunella vulgaris increased apoptosis rate of lymphocyte induced of T24 cells(p 0.05).The different concentrations teams of Prunella vulgaris have statistical significance (p0.05).Conclusion:Prunella vulgaris can up-regulated the expression of functional Fas Ligand mRNA of human Bladder Cancer Cell line T24.And, the up regulative action raised invasive ability ofcancer cells.
