Abstract
The material was collected from grassland glires in the region of Xilinguolemeng Baiyinxile pasture, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, in July to August 1994-1996. 416 individuals which, belonging to 12 species of glires have been examined.Altogether, 104 (25%) individuals (7 species of glires) were found to be infected by cestodes. Of which 18(4.33%) individuals (5 species of glires) were infected by cestodes of Anoplocephaloidea Spassky, 1949. Six species of parasitic cestodes belonging to 4 genera of the 2 family (Anoplocephalidae and Linstowiidae) have been identified and enumerated in Table 1 in the Chinese text. Among them, two are considered as new to science.(Diuterinotaenia polyclada Yun et Lin, 2000 and Aprostatandrya (A.) neimongguensis sp. nov.).And 4 are recorded for the first time from China. In addition, 7 species of glires are found to be new hosts of the cestodes.Aprostatandrya (A.) neimongguensis Yun et Lin, sp. nov. (Figs.1-4) Host. Microtus maximowiczii Schrenk. Location. Small intestine. Locality. Xilinguolemeng Baiyinxile Pasture (43°48′N, 117°25′E), Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Holotype and paratype are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Description. Female genital organs located in posterior half of the central area of mature proglottid, inclined to the poral side of the middle line of proglottid. Ovary elliptical or fan-sphaped, consists of many digitiform or pear-shaped lobes, (0.3377-0.3870)*!mm×(0.1992-0.2165)*!mm. Vitelline gland compact, slightly lobed, dorso-posterior to the ovary, and situated close to longitudinal excretory ducts on poral side of proglottid. Seminal receptacle present, (0.1386-0.1906)*!mm×(0.0519-0.0866)*!mm. Uterus reticular longitudinally oriented when immature, anterior to the ovary. Fully developed uterus lobulate saccular, eggs fill in each saccule. Later on it is degenerated gradually, at last disappered. The new species resembles Aprostatandrya (A.) causasica (Kirschenblatt, 1938) and A.(A.) microti (Hansen, 1947), but the latter 2 species differ from the new species by the following features. 1) Size of strobila of latter 2 species is much larger than new species 〔(31-56)*!mm×(0.7826-0.9653)*!mm〕, whereas A.(A.) caucasica 〔(100-170)*!mm×(0.9-1.3)*!mm〕,A.(A.) microti 〔(90-200)*!mm×(1.71-2.09)*!mm〕. 2) In the new species the testes are 12-23 in number, while in A.(A.) caucasica 26-34 in number, in A.(A.) microti 28-35 in number. 3) The cirrus pouch of the new species (0.0953-0.1046)*!mm×(0.0473-0.06062)*!mm smaller than latter 2 species [A. (A.) caucasica 0.13-0.17*!mm in length, A. (A.) microti (0.178-0.233)*!mm×(0.055-0.069)*!mm]. 4) Shape of uterus of the new species differs from the latter 2 species. In the new species, uterus reticular longitudinally oriented when immature, later lobutate succular when fully developed, later on gradually degenerated, at last disappe
