The Comparison of Three Kinds of Syphilises Examination Methods

Abstract
Objective: compare three kinds of syphilises examination methods, namely TP-ELISA, TRUST and TPPA and choose the best one for large quantity measure of syphilises screen test. Methods: using TP-ELISA to exam 2138 patients' sample who are in hospital. TP-ELISA positive samples confirm with TP-PA, also be tested in TRUST. Results: In total TP-ELISA positive sample are 32, positive rate is 1.49%. Both TP-ELISA and TPPA positive samples are 31, confirm rate is 96.8%. TP-ELISA positive but TPPA negative samples are three, TP-ELISA false positive rate is 3.2%. Among TP-PA positive samples, TRUST positive samples are 18,taking up 58.1%(18/31),the other13 samples' TRUST results are negative, taking up 41.9%(13/31). Conclusion: TP-ELISA is more suitable than TRUST to be used in syphilises screen test of the hospitalization crow.
