Abstract
Objective To detect IgM antibody to measles and rebulla in population of Maoming City in 2005~2008.Methods IgM antibody was measured by IgM-capture ELISA in all suspected measles and rebulla cases between 2005~2008.Results The overall positive rate of IgM to measles and rebulla were 69.20%and 3.60%.The positive rate of IgM antibody to measles was the highest in age of 0~9 years(81.85%),while the positive rate of IgM antibody to rubella was the highest in the age group of 10 ~19 years(82.22%).Conclusion The conventional vaccination be maintained and intensified vaccination be performed to control the prevalence of measles and rubella..
