Abstract

Chinese teaching mainly emphasizes the improvement of students’ Chinese literacy. Chinese literacy is mainly divided into the following five aspects: word recognition, reading ability, writing ability, oral communication ability and comprehensive learning ability. It can be seen from the knowledge of linguistics that the five aspects are inseparable from the study of Chinese knowledge. Modern Chinese is one of the important basic courses. The teaching results have a direct impact on other courses. If the students’ level of modern Chinese is not high enough, their language ability in middle school Chinese teaching cannot be really improved. Through investigation, it is learned that the development of modern Chinese teaching in China is not optimistic. The traditional teaching model and outdated teaching content make students cannot flexibly use what they have learned in middle school language teaching, and teachers cannot complete teaching goals. In order to better carry out Chinese teaching in Chinese language middle school, modern Chinese courses need to be reformed.
