A study on the mammal diversity in Huping mountain nature reserve in Hunan

Abstract
mammal species which was classified 23 families belonging to 8 orders have been found in Huping mountains nature reserve. This mammal fauna was Lonsisted of 42 oriental species(75%) and 13 Palearctic species(23.31%) and was near to the fauna of southern China. The diversity and present condition of mammal conserved in Huping mountain was analyzed and some suggestion on conservation mammal in this nature reserve were propposed.
