Study of improved anastomostic method in the management of lower lacrimal canalicular laceration

Objective To explore the ameliorative anastomostic method for treating traumatic inferior canalicular laceration.Methods After probing into the lacrimal passage,epidural tube was implanted into the lacrimal passage through canalicular breakage under microscope.One end of the epidural tube was inserted into the nasal cavity from the lower lacrimal duct,the another end was sutured and fixed on the skin.Results Success rate of the operation was 96％.Conclusion Modified surgical repair of traumatic lacrimal laceration can get great clinical effect,and decrease the damage of lacrimal duct.This method is worthy of popularization and application.
