Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of percutaneous nephrolithotomy on recurrent patients with renal calculus after open surgery. Methods From May 2012 to May 2014, 56 patients with recurrent calculus were selected as the observation group, 50 patients with primary renal calculi were selected as control group at the same time. Both groups were treated by percutaneous nephrolithotomy. The effect were compared between the two groups. Results The hospitalization time in the observation group was(9.6±4.4)d, which was higher than that of the control group[(7.8±2.5)d], the difference was significant (P 0.05). Conclusions Percutaneous nephrolithotomy is an effective method in the treatment of recurrent renal calculus after open operation, and it is worthy of clinical attention. Key words: Renal calculus; Percutaneous nephrolithotomy; Recurrent calculus
