Abstract
Objective To investigate the application effect of clinical nursing path on prevention of postoperative urinary retention in patients with cervical cancer surgery. Methods From June 2016 to November 2017, a total of 80 patients admitted to the hospital for radical cervical cancer surgery were selected as the research objects.According to different responsibility groups, they were divided into the study group and the control group, 40 cases of each group. The study group received clinical nursing intervention. The control group received routine nursing intervention. Results Bladder function, quality of life, nursing satisfaction of patients in the study group were significantly better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The incidence of urinary retention, catheter placement time, catheter replacement rate, residual urine volume and length of hospital stay were significantly lower in the study group than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusions Clinical nursing pathway intervention for patients undergoing radical cervical cancer surgery can effectively reduce the incidence of urinary retention in patients undergoing radical cervical cancer surgery, improve the quality of life and nursing satisfaction of patients, which is worthy of promotion and application. Key words: Clinical nursing path; Cervical cancer; Radical surgery; Urinary retention
