Abstract
Objective To investigate the value of ultrasonography in diagnosing benign and malignant thyroid nodules. Methods The ultrasonography data of 60 patients with 81 thyroid nodules were retrospectively observed and analyzed, including size, shape, border, echoes, crocalcification and blood signal. Results The ultrasound findings of malignant thyroid nodules were ill-defined edge, irregular shape,A/T ≥ 1,hypoechogenicity,microcalcification and rich blood flow. Conclusion The ultrasonography plays an important role in diagnosing thyroid nodules. Key words: Thyroid nodule; Ultrasonography; Diagnosis
