Abstract
Objective To investigate the influence factors of differential diagnosis with ultrasonography in benign and malignant thyroid nodules. Methods The clinical data of 210 cases of patients with thyroid nodules were retrospectively analyzed, and the influence factors of differential diagnosis with ultrasonography in benign and malignant thyroid nodules were analyzed by logistic regression analysis. Results The cases of benign nodules was 148( 70. 48%),while the cases of malignant nodules was 62( 29. 52%). Single factor screening and multi-factor analysis showed that microcalcification, blurred nodular margin,AP /TR( antero-posterior and transversal diameters) ≥1,solid and hypoechoic appearance were the independent determinants of malignancy under ultrasound examination of thyroid nodules( P 0. 05). Conclusion Ultrasonography in diagnosing thyroid nodules has good effect,it can can be effective for ultrasound to identify benign and malignant thyroid nodules, according to the AP /TR,nodules nature, edge shape, type of the echo and calcification type, etc, and it is worthy of clinical application.
