Effect of information behavior intervention on medication compliance of patients with hypertension in mountainous area

Objective To explore the value of information behavior intervention on improving medication compliance to hypertension group in the mountain area.Methods 200 patients with hypertension were randomly divided into intervention group and control group,100 cases in each group.The intervention group received routine health education and the information behavior intervention including sending the regular message about the hypertension knowledge through the mobilephone and the fixed-line telephone; the control group just received the routine health education.Results By information behavior interventions,in medication compliance,there was statistical significant difference between two groups (x 2=20.37,P ＜ 0.05),also in blood pressure control (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Information behavior interventions in patients with hypertension in mountainous areas is a kind of practical and effective measures,it has significant effect in improving patients' medication compliance and blood pressure control,which is worthy for the clinical promotion.
