Impact of People-centered Health Care on Compliance Behavior for Elderly Patients with Hypertension in Community

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the human-centered health care methods of community health services in elderly patients with hypertension the impact of compliance behavior.Methods: Experimental screening in the community met the inclusion criteria of elderly hypertensive patients 124 patients were randomly divided into experimental group of 62 patients and a control group of 62 cases.Experimental group was given health care intervention,including persuasion and communication,regular medication,blood pressure monitors,reasonable food,quit smoking,limit alcohol,exercise,psychological adjustment,the control group given only general guidance.6 months after intervention,using questionnaire survey of two groups of patients with medication compliance and non-drug treatment compliance were compared.Results:After 6 months of community health service intervention,the experimental group medication adherence and non-drug treatment compliance than those in the control group improved significantly(P0.05,P0.01).Conclusion:Human-centered health care community health approach to the treatment of elderly hypertensive patients improve compliance behavior will help increase blood pressure control rates are conducive to improving the quality of life of patients,both operational and practical.
