Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of psychological intervention to the treatment effect of patients with depression.Methods 70 patients with depression were randomly divided into the psychotherapy group and control group with 35 cases in each group.The control group adopted routine antidepressant treatment.The psychotherapy group was given strengthened psychological intervention based upon routine antidepressant treatment.One year later,BDI and HAMD were used to evaluate the effect.Results One year later,the scores of BDI (13.5 ± 7.2),HAMD (17.3 ± 3.8) scales of the psychotherapy group were significant lower than those of the control group (21.5 ± 5.2,23.2 ± 4.2; P < 0.01).The recurrence rate of psychotherapy group (11.43%) was significantly lower than that of control group (34.43%,P < 0.01).Conclusion Psychological intervention has positive effect in treatment for patients with depression and can promote their rehabilitation.
