Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of the two different administration style of insulin pump to treat type 2 diabetes. Methods 118 patients with type 2 diabetes were selected and randomly divided into the experimental group, which 59 cases of the patients were treated with insulin pump (CSII group) and the control group, which 59 cases of the patients with subcutaneous injecting of insulin. The treat ment effects were observed. Results The blood glucose level of the two groups of patients was significantly decreased after treatment, the CSII group spend shorter time [(4.5 ± 1.3 ) d vs (7.2 ± 2.3 ) d],used a significantly less dose of insulin and has a lower incidence of hypoglycemia than the MDII group in the course of decreasing the blood glucose to aimed level(all P <0.05 ).Conclusion Insulin pump is safe and more effective than subcutaneous injecting insulin in treating type 2 diabetes, and has no significant adverse reactions, worthy of clinical application. Key words: Insulin pump; Diabetes; Insulin
