Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of tradition Chinese medicine (TCM) differentiation therapy for the treatment of diabetes. Methods 46 cases of diabetes in our hospital were randomly divided into control group and observation group. The control group was given traditional western medicine treatment. The observation group received TCM differentiation therapy. The fasting plasma glucose, total effective rate and adverse reactions rate of two groups were compared. Results The fasting plasma glucose of observation group was significantly better than that of control group (P < 0.05).The total effective rate of observation group was 95.7%,which was significantly higher than 65.2% of control group (P < 0.05).Both of two groups had no serious adverse reaction (P > 0.05).Conclusion TCM differentiation therapy for the treatment of diabetes has exact effect. It can effectively control blood glucose, improve the clinical symptoms without serious adverse reactions. Key words: Tradition Chinese Medicine differentiation; Diabetes; Clinical efficacy
