Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of omeprazole combined with flupentixol melitracen on levels of serum gastrin (GAS), motilin (MOT) and quality of life in patients with reflux esophagitis (RE). Methods Seventy-two patients with RE were randomly divided into study group and control group, with 36 cases in each group. Patients in control group were treated with omeprazole only and patients in study group were treated with omeprazole + flupentixol melitracen, the two groups were treated for 2 months. The clinical efficacy and incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups after treatment were compared, quality of life, hamilton depression scale (HAMD), anxiety score (HAMA), serum GAS and MOT levels were statistically compared between the two groups at admission and after treatment. Results The effective rate of the study group [88.89% (32/36)] was higher than that of the control group [66.67%(24/36)], the difference was statistically significant (P 0.05. Conclusions The effect of omeprazole combined with flupentixol melitracen on reflux esophagitis is significant, that it can relieve the depression and anxiety state, improve the levels of serum GAS and MOT, therapeutic effect and quality of life, with high safety.
