Abstract
Objective To investigate the roles of lymphocytes costimulatory molecules in systemic erythema-tosus lupus (SLE). Methods CD28, CTLA-4, CD80 and CD86 in lymphocytes in peripheral blood were detected with flow cytometry. Results T lymphocytes subsets changed in patients with SLE. Compared with healthy control, SLE patients have higher percentage of lymphocytes expressing CTLA-4, CD86, lower per-centage of lymphocytes expressing CD28 and that of CD80 didn' t changed. Conclusion The changes of T lymphocyte subsets and lymphocyte costimulatory molecules CD28, CTLA-4 and CD86 may have roles in the development of SLE.
