Abstract

Objective To compare between genetic mark of drug-resistance gene and pulsed field gel electrophoresis(PFGE) by the analysis of the relations of Acinetobacter baumannii in Ningbo No.2 Hospital. Method The genetypes of 27 A. baumannii were analyzed by PFGE and drug-resistance gene by PCR. The relations were analyzed with cluster analysis methods. Results 27 strains of A. baumannii were divided into two subgroups by drug-resistance gene PER method and four subgroups by PFGE method. Cluster analysis showed the difference. Conclusions The two methods have different application range, so the correct mothod for detection is very much importance in the study. Key words: Acinetobacter baumannii;  Drug-resistance gene;  Electrophoresis, gel, pulsed-field
