Abstract
Objective To discuss the clinical value of the application with BiPAP noninvasive ventilation in elderly patients with AECOPD.Methods Selected 32 elderly AECOPD patients with 7.35>pH>7.25 were treated with traditional methods and plus BiPAP noninvasive ventilation. The changes of the clinical manifestation, heart rate(HR),respiratory rate(RR),blood pressure, blood gas analysis were observed before treatment and after 2 hours and 24 hours treatment. Results The clinical manifestation were notably improved and the values of PO2,SaO2,PCO2,HR,RR were more significantly changed to good direction(P<0.01).Conclusions Using BiPAP noninvasive ventilation in AECOPD patients earlier could acquire satisfied effect. Key words: Acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; BiPAP ventilation; Treatment
