Abstract

Objective To investigate the serum levels of CRP,TNF-α,IL-6 and their relationships with clinic stages in the patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods The serum was sampled and prepared from 60 cases of COPD patients and 20 healthy persons. The level of CRP was measured by immunoturbidimetric method, the levels of IL-6 and TNF-α were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).They were statistically analyzed according to clinic stages, airflow obstruction. Results Levels of CRP,TNF-α,IL-6 in the cases of the COPD stable time and the period of AECOPD were higher than the healthy oases ( P < 0.05 ).Levels of CRP、TNF-α,IL-6 in the period of AECOPD were higher than in the cases of the COPD stable time (P < 0.05 ).Conclusions CRP,TNF-α and IL-6 are involved in pathogenesis,CRP,TNF-α,IL-6 not only take part in the acute inflammation in COPD,but also are closely correlated with clinic stages. Key words: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease;  C-reactive protein(CRP) ;  Tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) ;  Inter leukin-6 (IL-6)
