Abstract
Objective To observe the change of inflammatory factors in COPD patients at stable period and acute exacerbation stage, and to evaluate their significance on the judgment of progression of COPD course. Methods 90 COPD patients were selected as the study group, and 50 healthy people were taken as the control group. The levels of serum CRP,IL-6,TNF-α,and NO were measured and compared between the two groups.Results(1) The levels of CRP,IL-6,TNF-α,and NO were significantly higher in the study group than in the healthy controls(P 0.01),and the levels of CRP and TNF-α were obviously higher in the acute exacerbation group than in the stable group(P 0.01).(2) During the treatment, lung function was divided into a,b,and c three points. The levels of CRP,IL6,TNF-α,and NO were the highest at the point a,and the difference of the levels of CRP,TNF-α,and NO was the most significant(P 0.01).Conclusion The levels of serum CRP,IL-6,TNF-α,and NO increase obviously in COPD patients, and the levels of CRP,TNF-α,and NO can be used as the reference indexes to assess the progression of COPD disease.
