Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of metastasis-associated gene 1(MTA1)and MMP-9 gene in breast carcinoma and its relationship with cHncopathological data. Methods SP immunohistochemical technique was used to detect the expression of MTA1 and MMP-9 protein among 56 breast cancer samples.Resttlts The positive rates of MTA1 and MMP-9 proteins were 69.6%(39/56)and 73.2%(41/56),respectively.The high expression of MTA1 and MMP-9 proteins was significantly rehted with degrees of differentiation, clinical phases and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).Conclusion The expression of MTA1 and MMP-9 can he taken as the biological marker of prognosis and postoperative comprehensive treatment of breast carcinoma. Key words: Breast cancer; Metastasis-associated gene 1; MMP-9
