Jianpi Yifei decoction for advanced non-small cell lung cancer

Abstract
Objective
To explore the effect of Jianpi Yifei decoction for advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
Methods
The control group was treated with DC chemotherapy; in addition, the observation group was treated with Jianpi Yifei decoction. The clinical efficacies, quality of life, and drug safety in both groups were observed and compared.
Results
After 2 courses’ treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group (54.7% vs. 34.4%, P < 0.05). The improvement rate of KPS was 70.3% in the observation group and was 56.3% in the control group (P < 0.05). The incidence of adverse drug reactions was 14.1% in the observation group and was 32.8% in the control group (P < 0.05).
Conclusions
Jianpi Yifei decoction for advanced non-small cell lung cancer can improve the curative effect and the quality of life and is highly safe.
