Abstract
Objective To explore the application of psychological nursing intervention among kidney tumor patients during perioperative period. Methods From October 2010 to October 2013, a total of 74 kidney tumor patients undergoing LPN were divided into experimental group and control group on average by random number table. The patients in experimental group undergoing psychological nursing were compared mentation with patients in the control group who underwent routine nursing care by SAS and SDS. Results After the intervention, the SAS and SDS scores of the experimental group were (47.35±4.30) and (45.14±2.03), lower than that of the control group (57.49±5.86) and (52.27±5.24), the differences were statistically significant (t=-8.482, -7.727, respectively; P<0.05). Conclusions Psychological nursing intervention could effectively reduce anxiety and depression of kidney tumor patients during perioperation period, and enhance patients confidence to cope with the disease. So it is worth of application and promotion in clinical work.
