Abstract
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is achronic and relapsing inflammation of the intestinal tract. The pathogenesis of IBD is still unknown. In recent years, the research on the relationship between intestinal flora and IBD has become a hot topic. The change of intestinal flora may be one of the important pathogenic factors of IBD. Bifidobacterium is known as one of the probiotics in the intestine, the change of the bifidobacterium flora is closely related to the pathogenesis of IBD. It can effectively reduce the intestinal inflammatory response of IBD patients by enhancing the mucosal barrier function, regulating intestinal immunity and intestinal flora. The regulation of bifidobacterium in the intestine may have a positive effect on the treatment of IBD. Key words: Colitis; Probiotics
