Abstract
The etiology and pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)is unclear.Studies have showed that probiotic supplement can correct dysbacteriosis and alleviate IBD patient's condition. This article will explore the role of enterobacteria in development of IBD and the relationships between flora disturbance and abnormalities of intes-tinal immune function, intestinal mucosa function defects and increase of intestinal permeability,Further it will address the therapeutic effect of probiotics in IBD.With the improvement in recognition of intestinal mucosa immune system and genetic susceptibility of IBD,probiotics will become a class of great promising treatment drugs in IBD.
