Effect of the community nursing intervention for elderly patients with hypertension

Abstract
Objective To investigate the community nursing intervention methods and effects of observation for the elderly patients with hypertension.Methods A total of 240 patients with hypertension were randomly divided into two groups:nursing intervention group and control group,and each group was 120 cases.In nursing intervention group health education was designedly carried out besides according to the method of taking medicine of control group,the patients were treated witlh nursing intervention including diet,sports,psychology,eating drug,blood pressure monitoring.Results Patients in nursing intervention group had good control of blood pressure,compared with patients in control group,there was significant difference (P＜0.05),with a statistical significance.Conclusions Community nursing intervention can improve the quality of life and health care consciousness of the elderly patients with hypertension.It is a kind of very effective measures and worthy spreading.
