The Effect of Community Nursing Intervention on Patients with Hypertension

Objective To explore the effect of community nursing intervention of patients with hypertension.Methods 168 patients with hypertension administrated by our community health service center were randomly divided into control group and intervention group.Each group had 84 patients.The patients in control group accepted classic chronic disease management,while patients in intervention group accepted further community nursing intervention,which was far more than classic management.The awareness rate of hypertension knowledge,compliance behavior,the effect of controlling blood pressure and degree of satisfaction were compared with the two groups.Results The awareness rate of hypertention knowledge,compliance behavior,the effect of controlling blood pressure and degree of satisfaction in intervention group were higher than control group.Conclusion Community nursing intervention on patients with hypertension can increase the degree of patients' satisfaction,increase the awareness rate of hypertension knowledge,enhance patients' compliance behavior,keep the blood pressure at an ideal level,and play an important role in preventing hypertension.
