Clinical research through indwelling gastric tube saline to wash discontinuously in the treatment of severe organophosphorous poisoning

Abstract
Objective To study the treatment of washing stomach with normal saline through stomach tube in severe organophosphorous poisoning.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted to review the clinical data of eighty patients of severe organophosphorous poisoning from January 2010 to December 2011.Forty-two cases were treated by indwelling gastric tube discontinuous saline to wash,38 cases were treated by conventional treatment.Results Based on the routine therapy with normal saline to wash stomach discontinuously through stomach tube can make a remarkable curative effect.Conclusions The treatment of washing stomach discontinuously with normal saline through indwelling stomach tube for severe organophosphorous poisoning plays a positive and effective role.
