Bushen Ningxin Tang versus nylestriol for menopausal syndrome

Objective To compare and analyze the efficacies of Bushen Ningxin Tang and Nylestriol for menopausal syndrome.Methods 93 patients with menopausal sydrome spipitalized into our hospital from July,2012 to June,2013 were selected as study objects and were randomnly divided into an observation group (n=47),treated with Bushen Ningxin Tang,and a control group (n=46),treatet with nylestriol.The clinical efficacies,serum hormone levels before and after the treatment,and incidences of adverse reactions of the two groups were observed and compared.Results The efficacy was 93.62％ in the observation group and was 80.43％ the control group,with a statistical difference(P ＜ 0.05).The serum levels of FSH,LH,and E2 in both groups were improved after the treatment,with statistical differences (P ＜ 0.05).After the treatment,the serum levels of FSH and E2 were improved more in the observation group than in the control group,with statistical differences (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Bushen Ningxin Tang in the treatment of menopausal syndrome is more effective than nylestriol and is worth being clinically generalized.
