Effect of nursing intervention on stroke patients with depression

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of nursing intervention on stroke patients with depression.Methods Stroke patients with depression were divided into experimental group(40 cases) and control group(40 cases) randomly, routine treatment were performed in two groups, nursing intervention was carried out in experimental group in addition to routine treatment. Two groups scored with HAMD、FMA and BI before and after intervention were tested. Results The score of HAMD was improved(P<0.01),scores of FMA and BI were higher than those of control group obviously(P<0.05).Conclusions Nursing intervention is effective for the treatment and recovery of stroke patients with depression .
