The Impact of Nursing Intervention on Post-stroke Depression

Abstract
Objective To investigate the validity of nursing intervention on patients with post-stroke depression.Methods 50 post-stroke depression patients were randomly divided into the control group and the intervention group,the control group were given conventional treatment and routine care.The intervention group targeted nursing intervention on the basis of conventional treatment.After admission the 4th week and the 12th week,respectively assess the Hamilton score(HAMD),the difference between the two groups were compared.Results The results from the first four weeks after the intervention,the intervention group and the control group compared to the HAMD’s differences were statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Nursing intervention can improve the depression of the PSD patients,and promote the rehabilitation of patients after stroke.
