Reform ideas and practice of basic medical experiment teaching in Peking University

In order to cultivate high quality medical talents with innovative ability in new century,a medical education reform program called new pathway was formulated in Peking University Health Science Center.Basic medical experiment teaching reform is an important part of New Pathway reform.In this paper,it was introduced detailed the reform ideas and practice of new pathway of basic medical experiment teaching from the aim of experimental teaching,designing of experimental teaching and questions in experimental teaching.The teachers and students were generally satisfied with the new experimental curriculum system after two years of practice.The innovation experimental curriculum revolutionise traditional experimental teaching model,and build a new basic medical experiment teaching system which can strengthen discipline merging,focus on training students' scientific thinking skills and emphasize cultivation of innovation ability.
