Clinical efficacy of pantoprazole combined with bismuth potassium citrate on gastric ulcer

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of pantoprazole combined with bismuth potassium citrate on gastric ulcer. Methods A total of 112 patients with gastric ulcer were selected as the study objects, and were divided into observation group and control group randomly, with 56 cases in each group. The control group were given bismuth potassium citrate treatment, and the observation group were given pantoprazole combined with bismuth potassium citrate treatment. The effect and adverse reaction were observed in the two groups, and symptom remission time, ulcer healing time, and 1 year follow-up disease recurrence rate were compared in the two groups. Results The effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The remission time and ulcer healing time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions and recurrence rate of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusions The effect of pantoprazole combined with bismuth potassium citrate on gastric ulcer is obvious, and it is worthy of applying and popularizing.
