Clinical Observation on Treatment of 46 Cases of Severe Acute Pancreatitis with Qing Yi Decoction Combined with Western Medicine

Abstract
Objective To observe clinical effect of treating severe acute pancreatitis with Qing Yi decoction combined with western medicine. Methods 46 patients with severe acute pancreatitis were randomly recurited into a control group and a treatment group. Both groups were treated with routine western medicine. The control group was treated with octreotide based on the routine western medicine, and the treatment group was treated with Qing Yi decoction based on the control group. The clinical effect was observed in both groups. Results The clinical effect in the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The treatment of Qing Yi decoction combined with western medicine on severe acute pancreatitis is better than western medicine only.
