Abstract
Tumor infiltrating lymphocytes can be found in human tumor tissues.Although after active immune therapy, tumor-reactive T cells could be detected in most patients’ peripheral blood, patients often get little clinical benefit. Now it is believed that tumor microenvironment suppresses immune response and causes tumor immune escape. Here we review the mechanism of tumor immune escape and tumor immunotherapy strategies. Key words: Tumor microenvironment; Iimmune escape; Immunotherapy; Advanced cancer
