Abstract
Objective To establish a checked-technology of HPLC for metronidazole formulation. Methods The HPLC analysis was carried on a Thermo C18(250mm × 4.6mm, 5 μm).The mobile phase was methanol -50mmol·L^-1 potassium dihydrogen phosphate(20:80) at a flow rate of 1.0ml·min^-1, inject 20 μl sample into for analysis. The detection wavelength was 310 nm and the column temperature was 40℃.Results The established technology can be used for the analysis of the formulation for metronidazole supositories. The regression equation was A=3. 47 × 104^C-0.88 × 10^4, r=0.9999. The average recovery was 98.4%, RSD was 0.9%.Conclusion The technology is high specificity, accurate, simple, and fast.
