Abstract
OBJECTIVE To establish an HPLC methed for determine metronidazole in Metronidazole Gargles.METHODS A Shimadzu VP-ODS(150mm×4.6mm,5μm)column was used. The mobile phase was methanol-water(30∶70).The UV detection wavelength was 300nm,flow rate:1.0mL·min-1,column temperature:30℃,injection volume:20μL.RESULTS The metronidazole curve was linear in the range from 10 to 120μg·mL-1(r =0.9999)and the average recovery was 99.5%(RSD=0.19%).CONCLUSION The method was simple and reliable, and can be used for the determination of metronidazole in Metronidazole Gargles.
