Abstract

Objective To study clinical efficacy of complex trabeculectomy for treatment of glaucoma. Methods 96 eyes in 82 cases of glaucoma treated with trabeculectomy for the purposes of complex surgery (trabeculectomy with mitomycin C and adjustable sutures) were observed for the formation of postoperative anterior chamber, visual changes, intraocular pressure, bleb, and other complications of situation. Results The rates of postoperative complications shallow anterior chamber, low intraocular pressure, visual acuity decrease were reduced. Conclusion Complex trabeculectomy for glaucoma with high security and fewer postoperative complications curative effect, is an effective way to treat glaucoma. Key words: Trabeculectomy;  Glaucoma;  Mitomycinc;  Adjustable suture
