Abstract
Objective To explore the nursing methods and effects of concurrent chemotherapy and radiotherapy in patients with esophageal cancer. Methods A total of 60 cases of concurrent chemotherapy and radiotherapy patients with esophageal cancer were divided into the observation group and the control group according to different nursing methods, the control group was received routine nursing care, the observation group was established the responsibility nursing team for care, treatment effect, status, life quality and nursing satisfaction were compared between two groups. Results The curative effect in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, toxicity reaction degree and fatigue were lighter than those in the control group, anxiety and depression scores were significantly lower than those in the control group, with statistical significance ( P〈0.05) .Life quality in physical function, role function, social function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, nursing satisfaction was higher than that in the control group, with statistical significance ( P〈0.05) .Conclusions Occurrence of concurrent chemotherapy and radiotherapy patients with esophageal cancer is high, responsibility nursing can reduce the adverse reaction of treatment, improve the life quality. Key words: Esophageal carcinoma; Concurrent chemotherapy and radiotherapy; Adverse reaction; Responsibility nursing
