Clinical observation of moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine retention enema treatment of chronic pelvic inflammation

Objective To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine retention enema treatment of chronic pelvic inflammation.Methods 90 patients were randomly divided into treatment group (n=45) and control group (n=45).The patients of treatment group were treated with moxibustion and traditional Chinese medicine retention enema for 4 weeks.The patients of control group were treated with levofloxacin Tablet and metronidazole Tablet for 4 weeks.Results In the treatment group,the cure rate was 53.33％,the total effective rate was 80％.In the control group,the cure rate was 20％,the total effective rate was 53.33％.The cure rate and total effective rate of the treatment group were higher than those of the control group.The difference was statistically significant between the two groups (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine retention enema treatment of chronic pelvic inflammation has significant curative effects.
