Abstract

Hepatic fibrosis is an important part of development of chronic liver inflammation further to cirrhosis, liver cancer.The formation of hepatic fibrosis is a complex pathological process involving multiple cells and multiple factors.The progress of hepatic stellate cells(HSC), extracellular matrix(ECM), cytokines and autophagy, sphingosine kinase 1(Spk1)in the pathogenesis of hepatic fibrosis is reviewed in this study.
