Abstract

Objective To analyze the clinical value of ABO and RhD blood groups detection in pregnant women before delivery and before blood transfusion. Methods 4 213 pregnant women who underwent physical examination in our hospital from March 2017 to March 2018 were selected. All pregnant women were screened for irregular antibody, and the test results were recorded. The blood group, the specificity of irregular antibody, serum tilter of couples with irregular antibody positive were detected. Results Among 4 213 pregnant women, there were 53 cases of irregular antibody positive (1.26%), 15.09% of whom were type A, 24.53% of type B, 52.83% of type O, 7.55% of type AB; the positive rate of RhD was 98.11%, and the proportion of anti-E was the highest [37.50% (18/48)]. There were 15 cases of type O pregnant women and type A husbands, the proportion of serum anti-A tilter ≥128 was 53.33%; there were 11 cases of type O pregnant women and type B husbands, the proportion of serum anti-B tilter ≥128 was 27.27%; there were 2 cases of type O pregnant women and type AB husbands, the proportion of serum anti-AB tilter ≥128 was 50%. Conclusion Irregular antibody, ABO and RhD blood groups detection in pregnant women before delivery and before blood transfusion can be used to determine the mismatch of maternal and infant blood groups, easy abortion, hemolytic disease of the newborn (HDN). Key words: Pregnant women; ABO blood group; RhD blood group; Irregular antibody
