Abstract
Objective To study the effect of evidence-based nursing on complications and quality of life in patients undergoing hysterectomy. Methods A total of 110 cases total hysterectomy patients from April 2014 to May 2016 were analyzed and were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, 55 cases of each group. The control group was treated by routine nursing intervention, and the experimental group was treated with evidence-based nursing care of patients on the basis of the control group. Two groups were observed in patients with bleeding, infection, subcutaneous emphysema, incidence of shoulder pain and other complications. The quality of life of patients was assessed using the quality of life core scale (QOL-30). Results Hemorrhage, infection, subcutaneous emphysema, shoulder pain and other complications of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The quality of life in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions Evidence-based nursing intervention for patients with total hysterectomy can significantly reduce the occurrence of complications, effectively improve the quality of life of patients, and it is worth promoting the application. Key words: Hysterectomy; Evidence based nursing; Complications; Quality of life
