Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effects of evidence-based nursing on reducing the complications after total hysterectomy. Methods A total of 200 cases patients undergoing total hysterectomy were divided into two groups, 100 patients before the application of evidence-based nursing as control group and 100 patients after the application of evidence-based nursing as observation group. The incidence of complications, in-hospital time and nursing satisfaction were compared between two groups. Results The incidence of postoperative pyrexia, residual uterine bleeding, bladder dysfunction in observation group were significantly less than those in control group(P< 0.05). The in-hospital time in observation group was significantly less than that in control group(P< 0.05). The nursing satisfaction in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.05). Conclusions The evidence-based nursing has a great clinical effects on reducing the complications after total hysterectomy, which lead to a less in-hospital time and higher nursing satisfaction and makes it worth for clinical application. Key words: Total hysterectomy; Complications; Evidence- based nursing
